Tellerchen

Tellerchen is our tiny little plate - so handy for so may different ways to use it. Cookies, sugar cubes, tea bags, butter swirls, soy sauce, 

We make it by pouring pigmented French Limoges porcelain into our custom plaster molds. The outside has a natural matte porcelain texture and the inside is glazed with a high gloss food safe glaze. 

The plate is approximately 8,5cm in diameter and has an elegant lightness due to it's ultra thin walls.

All our porcelain products are fired at 1250C in our workshop in Berlin. The intense heat of the firing process creates a strong, durable and non-porous material, making the cup water tight, heat and stain resistant.

We use locally sourced pigments to stain the porcelain to give our pieces bold and vibrant colours and hues. Some of our ultra vibrant porcelain colours, like Midnight Moss and Hot Red, are highly pigmented to achieve an extra intense colour depth.

Each of our products are handmade and unique. We embrace the subtle differences and variations of each item as a special characteristic and uniqueness!
