Marbled Liquid Porcelain Masterclass

Marbled liquid porcelain!

In a 2.5-hour ceramics class, you will get an insight into the world of liquid porcelain. Pour 2 marbled cups or a cylindrical vase using finest french Limoges porcelain. 

Course Content:

• You will receive a general introduction to working with liquid porcelain, processing techniques, and tools. We also give you a brief theoretical insight into the craft of plaster mould making.

• You will learn to use ceramic pigments to stain a small batch of porcelain that you will use to create a marbled pattern and splashes of colour into your white cups

• you will learn how to prepare the porcelain slip and pour it into plaster molds

• Once your pieces are finished, we will glaze them with a transparent glaze and fire them

• Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup 2-4 weeks after the course. We will notify you via email.

Course Details:

• 2.5 hours of Theory and hands on porcelain work

• Opportunity to create 2 unique porcelain pieces

• Use of all materials, tools, and firing and glazing services included

• Water, tea and coffee will be provided for you

You can cancel or reschedule the course up to 7 days before it starts for a full refund. After that, refunds or date changes are no longer possible.
