Handmade pasta plates
Date 1 - 2 hours -Saturday, 12.July - 7pm - handbuilding
Date 2 - 2 hours - Saturday, 26. July - 7pm - glazing
In a 2 part course, you will create a set of pasta plates. On the first day you will use plaster moulds to create your bowls choosing from different clay bodies. After bisque firing you will glaze the plates choosing different techniques and glazes.
Course Content:
Saturday, 5. July:

You will receive a general introduction to working with clay, different types of clay, processing techniques, and tools.

You will learn to work with slump and hump molds to shape your plates/bowls
- You will be able to work on your surface design by using techniques like, scaping, stamping, carving engobes to give your bowls your creative touch.
Saturday, 19. July:

Once your pieces are finished, we will meet again and you will be able to glaze them with a selection of our studio. you will learn how to prepare the glazes and how to apply them using different techniques like dipping, pouring, brushing etc. After that we will fire them for you.

Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup 2-3 weeks after the course. We will notify you via email.

Cancellation & Rescheduling:
You can cancel the course up to 7 days before it starts for a full refund. After that, refunds are no longer possible. As this is a 2 part course, students must attend all scheduled class times. If a student misses a session, no make up classes will be offered.

No experience necessary! The course is limited to 8 participants and is not suitable for children under 16 years.
